AGL has an opportunity for an In House Counsel – Gippsland Skies to join and help to deliver AGL’s first offshore wind farm.
The function of this role is to lead a team that is developing low carbon generation growth opportunities and is therefore critical to AGL’s purpose.

Key purpose of this role (and team)
Contribute to the development and execution of AGL’s energy transition strategy by managing the commercial and strategic workstreams of AGL's low carbon generation growth opportunities including potential acquisitions, and the disciplined development of existing generation project opportunities.
The proposed Gippsland Skies project will be developed in a phased approach, enabling it to contribute to a sustainable project pipeline and the long-term growth of the offshore wind industry in Australia.
The full potential of the project could deliver 2.5 GW to Victoria’s electricity network, enough power for approximately 1.4 million homes.

The key responsibility of the role is to manage the commercial strategy and negotiation for procurement contracts to support the business cases for projects in the range $100 to $1,500+ million that are able to be presented to the AGL board for investment approval.
