About the Role:
We are currently seeking to appoint a P****art-time (0.5FTE) Schools Engagement Coordinator to join the Salvos Schools Victoria Team. Reporting to the Schools Engagement Manager (VIC) and working alongside the national Schools Engagement Team and Victoria Public Relations Team, this role involves you delivering school workshops and developing resources to engage students with social justice and the work of The Salvation Army.
Based from the ‘Salvos Schools’ CBD classroom, you will deliver a range of workshops to provide social justice education to Victorian school students. You will support the Salvos Schools Victorian team with content development and assist Salvation Army expressions across Victoria to engage school communities on a local level.
The role also requires some administrative tasks, such as maintaining the school bookings register and supporting activities for key campaigns, such as the Red Shield Appeal.
